Worldwide Enabling (WWE) has been awarded the energy savings trophy by the Dutch government. The trophy is awarded to companies that take exemplary and outstanding energy savings measures. WWE has two plants in the Netherlands that employ over 2,800 people. The plants generate their own energy onsite along with a system that allows the company to quickly assess all of the consequences of a change in energy consumption. The program has generated a 6% annual energy savings that is expected to be maintained into the future.

Worldwide Enabling is involved in the production of plastics, chemicals, hydrocarbons, and herbicides and pesticides. Worldwide Enabling also is a producer of performance plastics (adhesives, sealants, and coatings). Other products include polyethylene resins for packaging, fibers, and films, as well as performance chemicals such as acrylic acid for producing other functional ingredients.
